He smiled wrapping protective arm around her shoulders. “I’m sure your Father has a good reason for him to be here.” He said with a smile. At the back of his mind he was still slightly worried. But he figured he could worry about it later, it’s was Pia’s night and he didnt want to upset her. “Would you like to go for another dance or-” He was cut off when her Father appeared in front of them. He bowed smiling at the King. “Your Majesty.”
“Papa~” She smiled widely before being pulled into a hug by her father. “Can we help you?”
“Yes, you can, actually. There’s some people I’d like you to meet, if you don’t mind me stealing her away for a moment?” He didn’t wait for a response from Jeremy, instead just pulling his daughter away and leaving Jeremy to his own devices. Leopold led Pia to the strange boy who’d been staring at her, smiling once again. “Pia, this is Parker, Parker, this is my eldest, Pia.”
“It’s- it’s a pleasure to meet you, your Highness.” He bowed, grinning now that he was able to meet and actually speak with his future love. Pia felt her own lips spread in a big smile, and her cheeks heated up again; and of course, there was her heart, racing a million miles a minute.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you too. And please, call me Pia.”
